The fall semester is moving quickly. We’re already halfway through the first half of the semester. When you’re taking 16-week classes in 8 weeks, there’s a lot to do almost every day.
My classes this half of the semester are Sociology and Social Media. Both are areas I’ve studied and worked in for decades.
Sociology presents lessons that are on similar topics I’ve read about with book clubs and discussed in Kitchen Table Talks1 where so many different perspectives are shared. It’s these conversations that have enlightened me far beyond what any textbook can cover. These lessons are happening to me in real time, in real life and the class brings the opportunity of learning with new people, with new perspectives.
