Writing Prompt: Friendship
The Prompt: As you sharpen your pencil or gear up your computer, think about what friendship means to you. What is the role of a friend in one’s life? Is it different when you are very young, a little older, mid-life, aged? What kinds of things feed a friendship, and what kinds starve it? What do we owe to a friend? What is left when a friendship is broken? What is the best thing a friend ever did for you? What is a truth a friend told you? What has YOUR role been as a friend? As always, prose or poetry, fiction or reality, and if another topic seduces you away, go with it! See you at 8:00. We will say hello, read the prompt, and start writing.
